BAD Peptides (BCL-2 Family)
Product Code: QA-BAD01 Sequence: NLWAAQRYGRELRRMSDEFVDSFK (BAD 103-126, human) Molecular Formula: C131H200N40O38S (BAD 103-126)
Overview
BAD is a BH3-only pro-apoptotic member of the BCL-2 protein family that functions as a critical regulator of the intrinsic apoptosis pathway. BAD promotes cell death by heterodimerizing with anti-apoptotic proteins BCL-2 and BCL-XL, thereby releasing pro-apoptotic effectors BAK and BAX to initiate mitochondrial outer membrane permeabilization. QYAOBIO supplies BAD-derived peptides and additional BH3 domain peptides for apoptosis research.
Key Features
- BAD (103-126) and (103-127) human BH3 domain peptides
- Complementary BH3 peptides: Bak-BH3, Bax-BH3, Bid-BH3
- Cell-permeable variants (Bid BH3-r8, r9) with polyarginine tags
- Bax-BH3 L63A mutant control peptide
