Overview

Cathelin-related antimicrobial peptide (CRAMP) is a class of polypeptides found in the lysosomes of polymorphonuclear leukocytes (PMNs). As a component of the innate immune system, CRAMP effectively inhibits the growth of gram-negative bacteria and plays critical roles in host defense, inflammation regulation, and wound repair.
