Urechistachykinins
Overview
Urechistachykinin I (UI) and Urechistachykinin II (UII) are tachykinin neuropeptides isolated from the ventral nerve cord of the echiuroid worm Urechis unicinctus. They produce contractile effects on the inner circular body-wall muscle. QYAOBIO supplies both UI and UII for invertebrate neuropeptide research.
Key Features
- Urechistachykinin I (LRQSQFVGSR-NH2) and II (AAGMGFFGAR-NH2)
- Evolutionary intermediates between vertebrate and insect tachykinins
- Validated by HPLC and MS for reproducible research
