Vasopressin

Overview

Vasopressin (arginine vasopressin, AVP; antidiuretic hormone, ADH) is a cyclic nonapeptide hormone synthesized in hypothalamic neurons from the AVP gene. It regulates water reabsorption in the kidney and arteriolar vasoconstriction to maintain blood pressure. QYAOBIO supplies vasopressin peptides, fragments, and biotinylated derivatives for receptor pharmacology research.
